Creative AI Education for International Students in Taiwan
We've been working with students from all over the world since 2023, and honestly? It's been quite a journey. Taiwan offers something special for creative tech education—and we're here to help you make the most of it. Whether you're coming from Southeast Asia, Europe, or anywhere else, our programs are designed to work with your background and goals.
Programs Starting September 2025
We run three main tracks, each one focusing on different aspects of AI in creative work. Classes are small—usually around 15 students—so you actually get to know people and work together on real projects.
AI Visual Design Track
18 weeks · Sep–Jan 2026This one's for people interested in visual storytelling with AI tools. You'll work with generative systems, motion graphics, and interactive installations. Last year's cohort included students from Malaysia, Japan, and the Netherlands.
Creative Coding Foundations
16 weeks · Sep–Dec 2025Start here if you're new to coding but want to build creative applications. We cover Python, Processing, and basic machine learning concepts. Most students come from non-technical backgrounds—that's completely normal.
AI Audio & Music Systems
20 weeks · Sep–Feb 2026Sound design meets machine learning. You'll explore generative music, audio processing, and interactive sound installations. This track works well for musicians looking to expand into tech or developers interested in audio.

Coming from a graphic design background in Lyon, I wasn't sure how I'd handle the technical side. But the instructors met me where I was. By week eight, I was building my own generative art tools. Now I'm freelancing for studios in Taipei and Paris, doing work I couldn't have imagined a year ago.
I took the Creative Coding track after working in traditional software development for three years in Copenhagen. The switch to creative applications opened up entirely new possibilities. The student community here is surprisingly tight-knit—we still have a Discord where we share projects and opportunities. Three of us ended up starting a small studio together.
Support Throughout Your Journey
Moving to a new country for education involves a lot of logistics. Here's how we help international students navigate the practical stuff alongside the learning.
Pre-Arrival Guidance
We start working with you about 12 weeks before classes begin. This includes visa document support, housing recommendations in Douliu and nearby areas, and connecting you with current students who can answer real questions about daily life in Taiwan.
First Month Orientation
Beyond campus tours, we help with practical essentials: setting up bank accounts, getting local phone service, understanding public transportation, and finding your favorite coffee spots. We also run weekly social meetups during the first month so you can build your network naturally.
Language & Cultural Bridge
All our classes are in English, but we offer optional Mandarin conversation groups twice a week. Some students dive in, others stick with English—totally your choice. We also organize monthly cultural exchange dinners where everyone shares food and stories from home.
Career Development Support
Starting around week 10, we introduce portfolio development workshops and connections with creative studios across Asia and Europe. Our 2024 graduates went on to work in eight different countries—the network you build here tends to open doors in unexpected places.
